Ginerva
room accomodates up to 4 people
Ginerva de Benci was an aristocrat from 15th century Florence, admired for her beauty and intelligence and the subject of a portrait by Leonardo da Vinci.
She was so unique in her mental abilities and rare beauty, that she was also the subject of poems and sonnets written by members of the Medici circle as well as by Lorenzo di Medici himself.
Ginerva of Villa Bertagni is a large garden suite fit to inspire the poems of one’s heart. It is a room to write a novel in, and recall the great sonnets while reclining on the chaise long.
The bed head board is a 19th century carved wooden wonder in subtle shades of green overlooking a large and luxurious bathroom, with huge double mirrors and ancient roman reliefs.
The suite has an extension with a sofa which can become an area for children with an extra shower-bathroom.
