Catalina
Catalina was a famous local woman who lived in the 16th century. She became well known for being adventurous and fearless, travelling across the sea to faraway lands.
Catalina of Villa Bertagni bridges the tempestuous with the tranquility, the blue seas and the secret mountains. A small intimate lobby with a convent bench welcomes the pilgrim seeking sanctuary. A beautiful secluded room with a 19th century headboard, the tones here are like sea and mountain; blue in the bathroom to remember one’s travels across the sea, earth in the bedroom to relax and recall the landscape of our dreams.
Here too a beautiful crystal chandelier sets the tone and the best Italian coffee sets the taste.
