Serafina
The heroine of many Renaissance novels, Serafina was a character surrounded by plots, lovers, cardinals and mystery. The Serafina of Villa Bertagni is located at the top floor of a 300 year old house, where the spectacular views of the valley and mountains remind one of the secrets this woman held in her heart.
The entrance is though a foyer with an eighteen century armoire filled with art books; then you enter this enchanted room with its ancient ‘pietra serena’ fireplace and a bed made for queens, heavy curtains in the earth tone colors of Tuscany, and an enormous crystal chandelier.
The bathroom seems taken directly from a novel of ancient Rome with a stand-alone bathtub where you can sink into bubbles intimacy.
